So why is it that, like Esther Rantzan, we cannot avoid Parking Tickets in the City of Westminster. I go out of my way to do things properly, so when I do get a ticket, it can only be in the City of Westminster, where Parking attendants are out of control.
Here are the stories of these parking tickets.
No 1 or Royal Parking Kerfuffle
This story shows you how the City of Westminster can dream up Parking restrictions Signs where they do not exist. You would think that the Parking Appeal Adjudicators would oblige the City Of Westminster to provide evidence of these signs but they have not. I asked the adjudicators, and asked them again, for this evidence until they stopped answering my mail.

No 2 or Parking Attendant on Speed
This parking attendant invented a story that was a tissue of lies. Fortunately, what actually happened was witnessed by two independent witnesses who supported me. I asked the City of Westminster to have the Parking Attendant arrested, since this was not a matter of parking , but a matter of criminality. The parking ticket was in due course dropped, supposedly because they did not reply to my letter in a “timely fashion” In fact they replied more promptly than Parking Ticket No 1, where they did not reply at all.
