However, since she is a writer only in the conceptual sense, I have undertaken to fill these pages on her behalf.
If not by her, these pages will certainly be about her, and other important matters of the day

Philippoussis

This happened some time ago and is here to support this story. A Plague of Plagiarisms

Mr Pee is no longer on the tennis circuit.

I improvised this music which I called Philippoussis because the mighty Philippoussis was playing tennis at Wimbledon on TV as I worked my piano ivories.

Subsequently, I sent this piece of music to the BBC and invited them to use it the following year during the Wimbledon tennis coverage.

Imagine my surprise when immediately before a Philippoussis match, I heard my music come back at me. OK, it was just a small piece over the title sequence as Sue Barker hyped-up the match that Philippoussis was about to play, but the point is that the BBC failed to tell me they were going to use it, or even acknowledged that they did so, and of course, failed to pay me for using my work.
