Reverse Bucket List
Work In Progress
4 May 2015
I want to die before they make me take a cruise.
Down the Danube, for Christ's sake.
Before they make me tell a white lie for some goody-two-shoes reasoning.
Before I fail to react to Thatcher’s age of self.
Before I see another Tory government.
Before I compromise.
Or agree, to not cause a fuss.
Fail to meet Mrs. Monk’s high standards.
Fail to try, and try to fail again.
And fail to laugh at teasing.
And fail to see the funny side of David Amess
and hypocrites and deficits.
To avoid chantage emotionnel.
And the pretentious use of the French language.
Tories, tall stories, philistines.
And Before I morph into Uriah Heep.
Or before I persuade someone to do the wrong thing, ... again.
Or complain about complainers.
Lie about liars.
Piss in the fish pond.
Wish on a wish bone.
Buy a lottery ticket.
TAKE A CRUISE
Before they make me take a cruise, I want to die, but not before
I finish this “poem”, a work in progress.
