Talking to Polly on the Phone

Mrs Monk took These Pictures half an hour ago as we spoke with Polly on the phone about our supper, and about our new blue Christmas Tree lights, and about the argument with a neighbour whose cat likes to pee in our Kitchen and hide under our Christmas Tree to annoy Cat Flap Charlie.

Further pictures have been added, since the dinner has now been served. Mrs Monk took two further shots of the finished dish and the Lucky Man who was far too greedy and was obliged to demand two complete servings after being told there was enough for two days. Not now is there.

While I waited for dinner to be serve, Charlie surprised me by climbing on my desk and adopting this pose. This was not a set-up. It just happened. The photographer, Mrs Monk, is very cross because Mr Monk took these pictures since she was otherwise engaged.
