LEGEND
1st October 2008
This week we have the lamentable spectacle of politicians on both sides of the Atlantic attributing blame for the current financial crisis.
Cameron, the Tory novice from the right has blamed the current labour government, ostensibly from the left, and in America the roles are reversed and the right wing Bush is obliged to takes the flak, and is reduced to closet socialist remedies to get himself off the hook, at great cost to the American Tax payer.
In Britain, New Labour adopted Tory ways, to get elected in 1997, and when they got elected the Labour Spin doctor supremo Mandelson declared that we should all get filthy rich.
Greed had crossed the political divide but before New Labour, we became home owners under Thatcher. She introduced the unpopular and unfair Poll tax, but gave away the public housing stock, so we would all become capitalising home owners.
This short movie is the story of a healthy leg, and the mother of all greed, who abolished the school milk of human kindness, and lactated debt to the willing, who became enriched with mortgage and lifestyle and sushi, and arrogance, and then became crunched with New Olympian Foreclosing.
