Ugly Betty

This week's Newsnight Review on BBC TV, analysed Channel Fours new Friday night show imported from America, and decided that Ugly Betty was flawed by a lack of naturalism. Forced to describe the programme the panel of critics were obliged to smile every time they recalled each scene that was flawed by the lack of naturalism.

These critics need help.

Recommended if you love to laugh and cry, and can rise above the fear of caricature.
