It is something of a challenge to spread love and affection on February 14th in the Monk household. This is usually unrequited love, but I press on regardless.
This years song utilises Mrs Monk’s Christmas gifts to Mr Monk.
A red Ukulele, came my way on Christmas Day and on that day I played it until Mrs Monk begged me to stop. It had not been played since, until I recently decided to try again when Mrs Monk was fast asleep.
Not only did I receive the ukulele, but I was also treated with a baby accordion, designed with small Chinese children in mind, and not fat man-fingers. The kazoo was a later gift that came my way, from the same source.
Here is my first and possibly last effort with, ukulele, toy accordion, and kazoo.
